Integrate Google Talk into Orkut

Orkut, which has got a new design recently, is adding more and more features to its arsenal like feed reader, sharing YouTube Videos etcetera. But one feature which every orkuteer would love to see in Orkut is Google Talk integrated in it. Though Google will sooner or later do this, an astute user of Orkut, Gaurav Verma, made a beautiful Greasemonkey script which integrates Google Talk into Orkut. It also supports Group chat. You can even send an Email to your friend without leaving Orkut. The only downside is you should be working on Firefox.

How to make it work?

Step 1: Install Greasemonkey extension for Firefox

Step 2: Go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/12363 and click on the “Install this Script” link on the right side.

Now you are ready to go. Log into Orkut and find GTalk on the right hand sidebar. Happy Charkutting.
