PC help: Remove shortcut overlay arrows

Get rid of irritating icon markers in Windows

As with previous versions of Windows, shortcuts created in Vista feature an arrow overlay to help distinguish them from other icons.

Many users find these arrows irritating and they can be quickly eliminated by installing the Vista Shortcut Overlay Remover.

After installing the program you can choose between using the default arrow overlay, a slightly smaller arrow or opt to remove it altogether. A similar option is available in TweakVI which includes several other tweaking options.
